Duties and Role:

We are looking for a professional to provide advanced functional support on LOGFAS features with extensive experience as LOGFAS Operator in multinational environment.

This post is part of the team that provides application support services at the highest advanced support level. The LOGFAS SME provides support to the end users, but also works with software developers to define and refine requirements for software changes.

The incumbent will perform duties such as the following:

• Advise and support users on the functions and capabilities of LOGFAS;
• Advise and support users using the application in support of the NATO Logistic processes and Logistic Information Management;
• Analysis and test of changes to system authorized by Change Control Board (CCB);
• Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities both within the systems and the processes;
• Mentoring users on-site as required;
• Functional and technical reviews, walkthroughs and audits;
• Design and execution of test cases in MS Azure DevOps;
• Creation and implementation of test and exercise data;
• Support and advice users on the maintenance of logistic reference data.

Requirements

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• The incumbent must have a minimum vocational training at a higher technical level in the field of logistics, military logistics, supply chain management, movement and transportation, communication and information systems, operations management or equivalent. A higher educational qualification but less practical experience or a less formal educational background combined with particularly relevant practical experience may also be acceptable.

Must have demonstrable experience and knowledge in the following areas:

• Experience (at least 4 years) in various areas of Logistic Software Application Support including:
• Logistic information management with logistic applications;
• Training and instructional design;
• Requirement elicitation, support and testing;
• Configuration management practices and tools;
• Testing tools and methodologies;
• Knowledge of military and/or civilian logistic processes, standards and/or applications;
• Ability to write training and application manuals, documentation and user guides;
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
• Experience in creating/configuring test, training and/or exercise logistic databases
