Overview
We’re supporting a NATO programme focused on delivering Command and Control systems within a secure defence environment.
This is a senior, hands-on development role working on systems that support military communications and tactical data links. You’ll be contributing to live, operationally critical systems in a highly secure setting.

Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development of Command and Control systems
• Provide expertise across Tactical Data Link systems
• Support development of Cross-Security Domain solutions
• Contribute to data-centric security approaches
• Work within an Agile engineering environment

Required Experience
• 10+ years Java development experience
• Experience working with NATO C2 tools would be advantageous (NIRIS, SMACQ/OANT, DISG)
• Knowledge of military communication protocols would be advantageous (L16, JREAP, SIMPLE, L22, OTHG, FFT-IP1/IP2)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling
• Strong understanding of Agile software engineering practices

• Familiarity with data-centric security concepts
• Understanding of NATO standards 4774 and 4778
• Experience in secure or cross-domain environments
